BECOME A FRIEND
At 'Friends of Black Prince' we make most of our money from the generosity of regular donors - our 'friends'. They make a regular gift of money each month to be part of either our 'Driver' or 'Fireman' clubs, with each group offering donors incentives for doing so. If you'd like to support Black Prince and our group, becoming a 'friend' is the best way to go about it.

BECOME AN APPRENTICE
We know Black Prince has a loyal junior following who want to get involved and support the engine just as much as adults. For those fans under the age of 16 we have our 'Apprentice' club which not only gets them invitations to the same special events as our 'Driver' and 'Fireman' friends, but access to a special brake van ride, a Black Prince badge and a card sent to them on their birthday.
Becoming an 'Apprentice' costs £12 for the year and is a great present for any young steam enthusiast. You can find out more on our 'Become a friend' page here.
SPECIAL EVENTS
We run a handful of special events throughout the year to help fundraise for 'Friends of Black Prince'. Some of these are only for our 'friends' but others are open to the general public, like our footplate taster sessions. We sometimes run competitions as well, both online and at the North Norfolk Railway, with previous prizes including special illustrations of the engine by one of our 'friends', our limited edition Black Prince merchandise and footplate rides on the engine.
